Your name on the family domain
An address that says where you come from - and a page people can actually find you at. Both are held on mishra.info, renewed yearly, and set up by a person rather than a script.
The email address
A working address on the family domain, in one of two forms depending on how much you need from it.
SPF, DKIM and DMARC are configured on the domain, so mail from mishra.info is not treated as suspicious. This is also why the acceptable use policy is enforced strictly - one person sending spam damages delivery for everyone on the domain.
The subdomain
name.mishra.info, pointed wherever you need it. Three options, in order of how technical they are.
How it works
Everything is done manually in this first version. That is slower than an automated service and it is also why nothing is created before a person has looked at it.
-
Submit the request
Choose a username, pick a plan, tell us how to reach you. The form checks the name against the reserved list as you type.
-
Pay by UPI
The confirmation page shows the amount, a QR code and a reference number. Put the reference in the payment note so it can be matched.
-
Verification
The payment is matched against the reference, and the username is checked once more for availability and acceptable use.
-
Setup
The DNS record and/or mailbox is created, normally within 48 hours of payment being verified.
-
Credentials and renewal date
Login details, a setup guide for your phone, and the date your first year ends arrive by email. A reminder is sent 15 days before expiry.
A username is held against your reference while the request is open, and finally allocated once payment is verified. Reserved and system names are not available, and impersonating a public figure is not permitted. The full rules are in the Terms of service.
